Laura - Generation 2
Next to being the Founder of Trusted Governance, Laura is a Managing Partner at VivaInsurance Services LLC, a tied intermediary to Crown Global Life Insurance Group. Here, her main areas of expertise include assisting HNWI’s professional advisors in the structuring of and around estate planning by enhancing the solutions with Private Placement Life Insurance with a particular focus on the US and UK. Laura maintains a global network and supports business partners in compliantly structuring wealth enhancing product designs for their clients in cross-border situations. In addition, she provides strategic advice, product design and structuring services for the Crown Global Life Insurance Group.
Her higher education includes a Bachelor in International Business Management from the Euro-Business College in Hamburg, as well as a Master of Laws (finished with Distinction) from the University of Liverpool in International Banking & Finance Law. In addition, Laura is a TEP (Trust & Estate Practitioner) at STEP and has finished her Advanced Certificate (with Distinction) in Advising the Family Business as well as her Advanced Certificate (with Distinction) in Family Business Governance. Further, Laura has successfully completed a Train the Trainer in the Upside (Coaching) methodology and is a Certified Catalyst.
Laura and Riccardo are not only connected by being family, but have been working professionally together for a decade.
In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, pets, family and friends. She loves spending time outdoors and furthering her skills outside of work (such as cooking, baking & photography).
Riccardo - Generation 1
Next to being a Co-Founder at Trusted Governance, Riccardo is a Managing Partner at VivaInsurance Services LLC, a tied intermediary to Crown Global Life Insurance Group. Here, Riccardo is the President responsible for the development and marketing of its Private Placement Life Insurance solutions issued by Crown Global and based in Zurich Switzerland.
Riccardo joined Crown Global from Zurich Insurance Group Ltd., headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was the Head of Private Banking Solutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Northern and Eastern European countries. He was responsible for developing and distributing tailored private banking insurance solutions.
Riccardo has also held senior management positions at SWIFT, Clearstream Banking, Deutsche Börse AG, Capco and Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt, where he was Senior Vice President, investment banking.
He enjoyed further and higher education at University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart Germany, Executive School of Management, University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium and was awarded from the University of Liverpool in England the Degree of Master of Laws in International Finance and Banking Law with Distinction.
In his free time, Riccardo enjoys spending time with his family, loves to read and further educate himself on current events. He is a lover of good food and enjoys his motorcycle rides from time to time.

Their vision ranges beyond simple consultation, as they've successfully incorporated continuity into the framework of their day to day work and companies by including the second generation for several years now next to the back office aiding in day to day tasks. Additionally, Laura and Riccardo cooperate with respected and well-known experts internationally to serve the needs of their families. This includes working with global and local law firms, private banks, wealth managers, family advisory experts, and coaches, spanning key jurisdictions such as Switzerland, the UK, the US, parts of Europe and Asia. Together, they offer wide-ranging family governance solutions tailor-made to the exclusive needs of each family, ensuring the preservation and prosperity of family legacies.
Zaphira is a 6+ year old Italian Greyhound, born in Germany and raised in Zurich, Switzerland.
Zaphira is not only the chief emotional officer of Trusted Governance and VivaInsurance Services, but the glue keeping the team active and regularly outside during lunch times. Having grown up in the office environment, she regularly greets guests and, upon request, joins lunch or dinner meetings.
