Laura - Generation 2
Laura is the Founder of Trusted Governance and serves as Managing Partner at VivaInsurance Services LLC, a tied intermediary to Crown Global Life Insurance Group. She also holds the position of Vice President at Crown Global, where she provides strategic advice, product design, and structuring services. Her primary expertise lies in assisting high-net-worth individuals' professional advisors with estate planning, enhancing solutions through Private Placement Life Insurance, with a particular focus on the US and UK. Laura leverages her global network to support business partners in structuring wealth-enhancing product designs that comply with cross-border regulations.
Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Management from the Euro-Business College in Hamburg and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Distinction in International Banking & Finance Law from the University of Liverpool. She is also a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) accredited by STEP and has earned Advanced Certificates (both with Distinction) in Advising the Family Business and Family Business Governance. Moreover, she is certified in the Upside Coaching methodology as a Train the Trainer and is recognized as a Certified Catalyst.
Professionally, Laura and Riccardo share not only a family connection (daughter-father) but also over a decade of collaboration.
In the summer of 2025, Laura embraced motherhood, a new chapter in her life. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her husband, child, pets, family, and friends. Laura has a deep appreciation for nature and enjoys outdoor pursuits, including ethical hunting, which aligns with her love for sustainability and the environment. She also has a passion for cooking, baking, and photography, always seeking to further her skills outside of work.
Riccardo - Generation 1
Next to being a Co-Founder at Trusted Governance, Riccardo is a Managing Partner at VivaInsurance Services LLC, a tied intermediary to Crown Global Life Insurance Group. Here, Riccardo serves as the President, responsible for the development and marketing of its Private Placement Life Insurance solutions issued by Crown Global and based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Riccardo joined Crown Global from Zurich Insurance Group Ltd., headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was the Head of Private Banking Solutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Northern and Eastern European countries. He was responsible for developing and distributing tailored private banking insurance solutions.
Riccardo has also held senior management positions at SWIFT, Clearstream Banking, Deutsche Börse AG, Capco, and Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt, where he was Senior Vice President of Investment Banking.
He pursued further and higher education at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart, Germany; the Executive School of Management at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland; and Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium. Riccardo was also awarded a Master of Laws in International Finance and Banking Law with Distinction from the University of Liverpool in England. Additionally, he is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) accredited by STEP.
In the summer of 2024, Riccardo experienced the joy of becoming a grandfather for the first time, a milestone that has brought even more happiness to his life. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and staying informed about current events. Riccardo has a passion for good food and occasionally indulges in motorcycle rides.

With a combined experience of over 30 years working with high-net-worth individuals, they founded Trusted Governance to address this critical aspect of wealth management. Their approach extends beyond traditional consultation, embedding continuity into their daily operations by actively involving the second generation alongside their dedicated back-office team, who support day-to-day tasks.

Their network includes global and local law firms, private banks, wealth managers, family advisory professionals, medical family offices, and coaches. This extensive collaboration spans key jurisdictions such as Switzerland, the UK, the US, Europe, and Asia, enabling them to meet the unique needs of each family they work with. Together, they provide tailored family governance solutions designed to preserve and enhance family legacies for generations to come.
Zaphira is a 6+ year old Italian Greyhound, born in Germany and raised in Zurich, Switzerland.
Zaphira is not only the chief emotional officer of Trusted Governance and VivaInsurance Services, but the glue keeping the team active and regularly outside during lunch times. Having grown up in the office environment, she regularly greets guests and, upon request, joins lunch or dinner meetings.
